# Lumatch photos

Lumatch (https://lumatch.app) turns a few photos of the user into realistic new
photos of them in any scene. Everything runs through the Lumatch MCP server:

- MCP endpoint: `https://lumatch.app/mcp` (Streamable HTTP, JSON-RPC 2.0)
- Auth: `Authorization: Bearer $LUMATCH_API_KEY`
  (the user creates the key at https://lumatch.app/settings/agents)

If your runtime supports remote MCP servers, register the endpoint with that
header and call the tools directly. Otherwise call the endpoint over HTTP:

`tools/list` returns the full input schema of every tool.

## Workflow

1. `get_account` — balance, which profile photos are saved, prices.
2. If no profile photo is saved:
   - ask the user for one clear, well-lit, front-facing photo of themselves and
     call `add_profile_photo` with `image` (https URL) or `image_base64`,
     `role: "front"` and `confirmed_by_user: true` — **only after the user
     confirmed the photo shows them and that they are 18 or older**; or
   - call `create_photo_upload_link` and send the user the link (works on a
     phone for 30 minutes, no sign-in).
3. `generate_photos` with a `scene` preset (cafe, beach, city, gym, pet, night,
   hiking, travel, supermarket, bookstore, cooking, museum, picnic, concert,
   ski, cycling, headshot, avatar, wedding_guest, festive) or `custom`, plus an
   optional `description`. Defaults: 2 photos, quality `high`, ratio `3:4`.
4. Show every returned photo to the user (markdown image links). If the result
   says `processing`, call `get_photos_status` with the `batch_id` after ~30 s.
5. `edit_photo` with a `photo_id` and a short instruction for fixes.
6. `review_photo` gives free feedback on a dating photo (10 per day).

## Credits

- 1 credit per photo at `high`, 2 at `xhigh`, 3 at `max`. Edits cost the same.
- Tell the user the cost before creating more than 2 photos or using `max`.
- Failed photos are refunded automatically. Never retry a failed request in a
  loop; reuse `request_id` when retrying the same request so it is not charged
  twice.
- If credits run out, send the user to https://lumatch.app/pricing (one-time
  packs from $6.99 for 18 credits, no subscription). You cannot buy credits.

## Rules

- Only photos of the account owner. Never upload photos of other people,
  minors or celebrities, and never ask for a different face, body or identity.
- Do not describe the person's attractiveness; describe photos, scenes and
  outfits.
- AI photos should look like the user on a good day. Ask the user to check
  likeness before posting them on a dating app.
